Our Vision

CREATING WEDDING
STATIONERY WITH A STORY AS UNIQUE AS YOURS.

My wedding stationery career was sparked by my passion for design and a curiosity for graphic arts. I first started out working with my family and friends, creating unique wedding and shower invitations for their most important life events. When my friends and family eventually convinced me to go into business, my first company Katherine Elizabeth Events was born.

After 15 years of working in this field, I now consider myself an expert in many aspects of wedding planning and design. I love to help clients bring their vision to life, and I find deep satisfaction knowing that when it comes to their wedding paper, we have truly dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s. I provide not only custom design, but also consultation on etiquette and logistics. I’m a bit obsessed with details, and I feel like I was made for this line of work.

In my free time, I am a mom and a wife; I enjoy dancing, cooking, golfing, theater, photography, and seeking out great bars, breweries, and eateries. I am originally from Boston and currently live with my husband and two daughters in northern New Jersey.

About KATIE

ceo and designer

My design journey began at the University of Texas in Austin (my hometown). While completing my bachelor's degree in Textiles and Apparel Design, I worked part time at Paper Place, a local stationery boutique with a 40 year history. I loved learning about both crafts side by side. I moved to Manhattan in 2014 and got my dream job in the fashion industry. I lived in the city and was a women's designer at Ralph Lauren for five years, where I oversaw the women's sport categories, including golf, tennis and the Olympics.

In 2017, I learned calligraphy and opened a stationery business on the side. I began to learn about invitation production to create my wedding invitations in 2018. At the end of 2019, my son was born and I decided to make this passion my full time job and started my first company, Amaryllis Paperie.

In my free time, I love to read, play tennis, visit The Met and go shopping in the city. I live in Montclair with my husband, our son, daughter, and of course, the Glow Paper Co. mascot, our Boston Terrier, Bug.

Tiana joined us in August 2022 and has been an invaluable team member ever since. She manages the project timelines and suite production with a meticulous eye (she ties a better bow than Haleigh!)

In her free time, Tiana loves to read, game and try new restaurants. She loves the color purple, prosecco and sour candy. Coming from a background in childcare, she also loves spending time with kids and she is Bug's favorite person.

DESIGN AND PRODUCTION

Sherifa has been with us since 2022, when she started as a production assistant. She has always been interested in design work for both digital and print and holds a BA in Graphic Design. When she’s not in the production studio, she runs her own photography business, and spends her free time hiking, reading, and spending time with good people. Her favorite color is Forest Green, and a fun fact: she had a pet monkey for a week when she was younger!

DESIGN AND PRODUCTION

Bug Glynn is a very neurotic, clingy and personal space oblivious Boston Terrier. She loves to sit as close as possible to Haleigh and Katie (unless it is raining in which case she hides herself away from all the windows).

We don't know if she is artistic (probably not) but we do know that the studio would be very dull without her as our constant companion.
